Welcome to your Fiji Freediving oasis! Amidst Yasawa Islands, Kuata offers the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. We’ll be staying at Barefoot Kuata, a luxurious 5-star resort with mouthwatering cuisine and impeccable service.
We’ll spend our days freediving, learning about ocean conservation, planting coral, freediving with sharks and also have the option of scuba diving with Bull Sharks!
The Indigenous Fijian landowners have declared the waters surrounding the islands ‘Tabu’, meaning a no fishing zone. The result? Some of the best snorkelling and diving in Fiji! We’ll have backyard access to an abundance of thriving dive sites with pristine coral reefs boasting 15 shark species, 7 ray species, and over 300 fish species in our waters; get ready to mingle with Tawny Nurse Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Silver Tip Sharks and Bull Sharks. And if you get sick of diving (if that’s possible), you can explore the sites on kayaks or standup paddle boards at no extra cost.

We recommend flying into Nadi (NAN airport) at least 1 day before the trip. We recommend staying around Wailoaloa Beach as there’s plenty of accommodation options in the area. On the morning of 14 October we’ll meet at Port Denarau Marina, where we’ll each grab our ferry tickets and embark on our journey together to Yasawa Islands!
