NEED TO KNOW

This Raja Ampat freediving liveaboard is suitable for all ocean lovers from snorkelers, beginner freedivers to experienced freedivers.

All activities during our trip are optional; dive when you feel and nap when you want

We’ll ensure you never exceed your individual confidence levels and physical abilities

To board on time, you’ll need to arrive at the Airport in Sorong by 10am on 28 December

As with all diving trips, please ensure you secure travel/diving insurance

You’re welcome to purchase alcohol on board; liquor and wine will be available

Please bring cash for any additional purchases you wish to make, additional gear you want to hire (torches etc.,) and gratuities to guides and crew.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring all the standard travel essentials including the following diving gear:

• Mask, snorkel and fins
• A wetsuit is optional; please pack yours if you tend to feel the cold
• We always recommend to bring a rash guard for sun protection
• Bring a weight belt; weights will be provided

Please bring reef-safe sunscreen; our favourite brands are Blue Lizard, Badger and Surf Yogi.

ITINERARY

We’ll greet you at Sorong Airport and bring you to the boat; please arrive by 10am for your transfer.

From there, our freediving liveaboard officially starts and we’ll spend the following days exploring the cast array of different islands and dive sites. We’ll be eating all of the most delicious food and soaking up every variation of relaxation.

We’ll visit dive sites in northern and central Raja Ampat, such as Mioskon, Aljui Bay, Pulau Kawe, Cape Kri… the list goes on!

Each evening, we’ll host sessions of freediving stretches, breathing exercises and meditation to ensure you get the most out of your underwater time, as well as a marine critter ID session so we can all learn about the environment we’re in and the creatures we’re encountering.

On 4 January, we’ll be too busy photo-swapping and saying farewells to go for a dive. Plus, no one wants to travel with stanky wet gear!
