Experience bustling marine life and stunning dive sites thriving with coral reefs. The British Virgin Islands are famous for year-round tropical climates, making this the ideal sailing destination. We’ll be cruising in the summer month of August with peak temperatures of 31°C (88°F). Lap up the pristine conditions of calmer seas and lighter winds averaging 10-12 knots providing ideal conditions for snorkeling and freediving, in comfortable waters and excellent visibility. Our expert crew keeps a close eye on weather patterns to ensure the most smooth and enjoyable itinerary for everyone onboard.
Your holiday house for the week is a spacious and fully-equipped luxury 55ft Bali 5.4 sailing catamaran, with 6 airconditioned cabins and plenty of space for activities and deck space for sun bathing. You’re welcome to venture onto the islands and explore when the itinerary permits however, land-based purchases and meals are not included.
Optional Molchanovs Freediving Certifications: Wave 1 Beginner Freediver Course, AUD 399. Wave 2 Advanced freediving course, AUD 478. Wave 3 Master freediving Course, AUD 558.
Accommodation: We’ll be sharing twin cabins with a whole lot of luxury; enjoy air-conditioning and private ensuites.

WHAT TO BRING
Caribbean liveaboard dive trips are most comfortable with the ocean essentials:
- Sunglasses, hat, reef-safe sunscreen
- Swimsuits, towel, reusable water bottle
- Travel calm tablets if you’re prone to motion sickness
- Snorkelling mask, snorkel, fins and weights will all be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own dive gear for ultimate comfort.
ITINERARY
Day 1 – Tortola and Soper’s Hole: Morning boarding and briefing. Lunch. Explore Soper’s Hole harbour and local area. Relax and prep for freediving. Fun dive and gear testing.
Day 2 – The Bight, Norman Island: Freediving depth training (15m). Fun dive at The Caves or The Indians.
Day 3 – Great Harbor, Peter Island: Depth training up to 20m. Fun dive at Deadman’s Bay.
Day 4 – Salt Island: Dive The Wreck of the Rhone (5-30m). Beach chills.
Day 5 – Manchioneel Bay, Cooper Island: Diving and depth training (25m). Beach BBQ. Fun dive Cooper Island Beach Club reef.
Day 6 – Anegada: Remote and pristine region famous for its large barrier reef. Depth training and fun diving. Opt to dine onboard or at a local restaurant.
Day 7 – The Baths, Virgin Gorda: Exploring underwater caves.
Day 8 – Back to the marina. Flight departures from midday.
We’ll also explore Guana Island, Jost Van Dyke or Brewers Bay, weather and time permitting.
TRAVEL GUIDELINES
Non-USA citizens visiting the BVI need a passport and a visa. Please ensure you understand the latest restrictions, travel and health requirements for international travel for both directions of your trip by visiting relevant government and visa websites.
GETTING AROUND
Major airlines fly into Beef Island International Airport (EIS) via hubs like San Juan, St. Thomas, or Antigua. Hodge’s Creek Marina is just 15 minutes away. Wave down one of the many taxi mini-vans – they do not have meters so be sure to agree your price prior. Arrive by mid-afternoon for smooth boarding and book return flights after midday.

For this trip to go ahead, we require a minimum number of attendees; trip exchanges and refunds will be offered in the event of cancellation with at least 3 months notice.
